Malcolm Bell has over 35 years global experience developing and introducing new shipyard technology. Malcolm has been central to the implementation and development of advanced production engineering practices and productivity improvements across the globe.

Frank Bywater, a naval architect and MBA, is an FMI principal consultant and has over 20 years experience in senior management positions with leading European shipyards. Frank is an expert in performance improvement, organisation, planning and material control, and has undertaken performance related assignments for shipyards around the globe.

Tim Walters is a marketing professional with a broad background in maritime market research, capacity management, forecasting and business change consultancy. He has held line management positions in liner shipping and financial services industries. Tim specialises in marine industry markets, including shipbuilding, ship repair and offshore industries.  In his eight years with two of the world’s largest shipping lines, he has worked on numerous assignments, with particular focus on Asia, the Indian subcontinent and the Middle East.  He has also lived and worked in North Africa, China and India for a number of years.  Tim has a BA Honours degree in geography and a postgraduate diploma in marketing. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
