Offshore Wind and Marine Renewable Energy Print

Wind, wave and tidal energyRoyal Haskoning’s Renewables team shares our clients’ passion and vision for the development of sustainable energy production and distribution in the marine environment.  We have worked on a range of onshore and offshore wind, wave and tidal stream projects (and associated transmission routes), particularly in the seas surrounding the British Isles, at all stages of the development process including licensed site development and site prospecting for over 20GW of potential generation capacity.

We are proud of our market position and reputation within the industry and seek to enhance this through continuing to produce high quality work and practical solutions to address the constantly emerging issues associated with offshore renewable energy development.

Most importantly, our primary objective is to play a major role in supporting our Clients in making the ambitious targets set by the UN, EU and other regional and national Governments a reality.

We offer market-leading experience in managing both large and small scale renewable energy generation based infrastructure projects.  We have in depth capabilities and proven successes throughout the full project cycles.  Our experience is based on having been involved in the sector since its inception.

In addition to our substantial wind energy work, we are involved in several unique and innovative tidal stream and wave energy deployments for private and public sector clients where we are pushing the boundaries of infrastructure technology and ensuring regulatory compliance at the same time.

We are one of the few consultancies to have worked with the marine renewable industry as it transitions through developmental technology into fully realised commercial applications.  We have the capacity to provide the right experts and cross disciplinary teams where and when your project requires, covering the full range of technical, environmental, engineering, consultation and process management services.

We are members of the European Wind Energy Association, RenewableUK and the Netherlands Wind Energy Association and participate actively in the working group .
