Royal Haskoning has extensive experience in the field of marine pipelines, outfalls and intakes, having being involved in over 60 such schemes around the world in the past 40 years.

The firm has a detailed knowledge of the whole spectrum of issues from the planning and consenting process to determining the hydrodynamic climate, through to outline and detailed engineering.

In addition Royal Haskoning has unparalleled knowledge of coastal process engineering in the marine environment. Its staff has substantial experience of design techniques together with knowledge of the full range of materials and construction methods relating to the wide variety of options available.

Royal Haskoning's expertise in Marine Pipelines is now led by David Watson. In his previous employment David worked almost exclusively in the field of marine pipelines, and was responsible for the technical input into over 70 marine pipelines. His experience covers pipeline in diameters from 150mm to 3000mm and in a wide range of materials (PE, GRP, Steel, Stainless Steel and Concrete).
