Presently total staff strength of Royal Haskoning is about 3,900 of which approximately 400 are professional staff working in the maritime sector.


Projects can be resourced with globally recognised professionals from a wide range of disciplines, which include planners, civil services, coastal and geotechnical engineers, economists, transport planners, financial experts, environmental scientists and mathematical and physical modelling specialists.

Support is also available from IT specialists, construction management experts and spatial development specialists.In-house professional staff resources cover a broad range of consulting disciplines and include:

In addition to the staff available within Royal Haskoning, the group is able to call upon a number of experts in various fields to provide input on projects to augment the in-house resources.

Royal Haskoning makes extensive use of information technology for design and analysis, drawing production, project planning and monitoring and accounting and project control. All offices have local area networks (LAN) to which computers are attached with inter-office communication via the Intranet and Internet all via high-speed ISDN lines. Extensive use is made of both commercially available and in-house developed software and our engineers use up to date and state of the art software packages in the execution of their work.
