Haskoning UK Ltd, the UK arm of Royal Haskoning, has been selected to receive a Queen’s Award for Enterprise - the UK’s most prestigious award for business success.

There are three business categories; Royal Haskoning has received the Queen’s Award for International Trade - awarded to companies that demonstrate outstanding achievement in international trade continuously over no less than a three year period.

Since 2008, the turnover Royal Haskoning generates from overseas trade has almost doubled. Totalling £72.3 million (over three years), income generated from international projects now represents almost half (46%) of our total turnover.

This international portfolio compliments the work we do in the UK. Projects across the world, including in emerging markets like the Middle East and Africa, have contributed to our success in winning this award.

We feel that we have an important role to play in helping developing countries achieve their potential. This award recognises Royal Haskoning’s contribution to society and the way that our profession helps to shape the world.
