Naval Base and Defence Facilities
Naval Base and Defence Facilities
Introduction Print

Royal Haskoning, through Haskoning UK, and Haskoning Nederland B.V., has acquired extensive experience in the field of naval base and defence facilities through decades of work with defence organisations.

We provide a range of services to the defence and military sectors including the planning, design, assessment, refurbishment and project management of berths, infrastructure, buildings and other base facilities.

Diverse issues are considered, from safety standards for the storage of explosives, to appropriate methods for safeguarding the security of information. Our expertise in solving these and providing engineering solutions has enabled us to take an integrated approach to the many defence projects we have completed.

Away from the water, onshore projects have included hardened shelters, aircraft service facilities and an armoured rebuild facility for a Middle Eastern country's armed forces.

Our portfolio also includes facilities that support the main defence activities, such as living quarters and training schools, designed and managed with the same attention to safety and security issues.
