The Maritime Division of Royal Haskoning undertakes approximately 250 port development projects annually as well as other marine related projects covering the dry dock and shipyard sectors. In addition approximately 180 Coastal Development projects are carried out annually.

Our specialist waters edge services include environment and coastal studies and assessments, and the planning, design and consultation on a wide range of waterside developments including marinas, harbours and leisure craft and lifeboat (RNLI) facilities.

The Waterside Development Special Interest Group of Royal Haskoning is a group of cross-divisional specialists focused on the practical and effective development of both sensitive waterside environments as well as the regeneration of environmentally polluted or post industrial sites which are close to the waters edge. The complex nature of these waterside developments encompassing engineering and environmental issues on land and in water requires an integrated approach. We have a proven record in delivering integrated solutions for the waters edge environment by combining in-house expertise from our Maritime, Coastal and Rivers, and Environment Divisions.
